The National Smart Transport Summit

30th January 2013, Croke Park, Dublin

iQuest bring you The National Smart Transport Summit. Safe and sustainable transportation of people and goods is one of the biggest challenges faced in Ireland today. The importance of an efficient transportation network is far-reaching, affecting everything from the day-to-day lives of the average person to the economic success of the nation as a whole. This continuing requirement for better transport systems has led to the evolvement of Smart Transport. Essentially, Smart Transport can be defined as “providing a full spectrum of appropriate, sustainable and integrated transport choices”. However, these new approaches and ideas need to be critically evaluated and thoroughly tested before they can be fully implemented. This is where The National Smart Transport Summit comes in. The Summit will examine the key issues and business cases and debate the possible future direction of our national transport strategy.
